He needs activity and a better promoter and to just be thrown in now with the top heavyweights now.

I don't understand why Frank Warren doesn't sign him, when he specializes in signing heavyweights. Half of the worlds bst heavyweights are British and with Warren, there's so many big domestic fights for Hughie.

Or maybe promoters don't wanna sign him cause he's not usually good to watch (but Warren has Okolie)

Literally don’t get what they’re waiting for. He’s about 32 and just fighting horrendous opponents on cards nobody watches.

Wonder what area level fighter they'll dig up for him to fight in some random small hall in Liege or something next?

Fury has his man strength now and is the most marketable HW on planet Earth.

They’ll stick him in with an Albanian delivery driver next as a warm up and then it will be Usyk for all the marbles.

Very strange career since his comeback in 2024. Just fighting low level journeymen

There's a lot of interesting fights that could be made for him versus the likes of Hrgovic, Gassiev, Joe Joyce, TKV, Riakporhe

He could be a credible opponent for Itauma or Torrez.

Or even as a voluntary defence for Fabio Wardley.

But for whatever reason he seems a bit too content fighting once every 9 months in 8 rounders against overmatched opponents in obscurity.

How many warm up fights does he need. Strange.

imo hes underrated and overrated and peter fury is a bit overrated , who has Peter really trained apart from the two Furys , savannah marshall is a big fish in a small pond and she came unstuck against a decent boxer in shields, looked hopeless

hughie has very poor technique on the power shots , his straight punches are not straight and his hooks are laboured and no power

hes still a tricky nights work for plenty of them but i could be wrong hes never in with anyone with a pulse
