This gentleman from Boisetown (a rural community in Northumberland County in New Brunswick) is 11 years Hughie's senior, three inches shorter, and has an unexceptional if undefeated record, with a very low stoppage rate despite having fought nobody so much as top 500 ranked in the world and with the most glittering accolade on his trophy shelf being his capture of his country's vacant NABA cruiserweight title... in 2012, by split decision, over a guy with a 7-5-2 record. Seriously, what even is this?

What this is? A Channel 5 special by the one and only "T H I C C" Mick Hennessy aka The Penguin aka Shades of Ali. Can't wait for this.

This is a joke of a fight. Norrad started boxing in 2009 and turned pro a few months later without any amateur experience or anything else. It's like somebody going to the gym, training for a few months then turning pro. Absolutely unreal but great story on the other side. I think Fury stops him EASILY.

Hughie felt bad for BJS getting dumped on about Shefat Isufi; this was a very selfless and Noble sacrifice of him falling on his sword and finding an even worse opponent for a supposedly top-5-h2h-in-their-division contender...

As long as he's not fighting Norrin Radd he's safe.

Savannah Marshall has a fight on the undercard and even though her opponent is still TBA it still promises to be the more compelling match-up, and likely the highlight of the card even if a squash. :shakehead:

    Norrad

That name sounds like a cream for haemorrhoids.. "Norrad for instant relief"

What a waste of a career, Hughie is not even treading water now, he is just drowning.

    Bookmakers have it handicapped as:

    Fury 1/100 (....)
    Norrad 18/1
    Draw 33/1

Lol I've no idea safe to say they so scared that one more loss and he's done.Actually the way Hughie always ends up banging heads and cutting himself I wouldn't rule the loss out.

    "Shades of Ali."
"He's even better than his cousin."

Two losses later and they have him fighting this guy.

Maybe the Furys are starting to face the reality that Hughie just isn't that good.

I can imagine BJS and Tyson laughing at Chris Norrads videos on youtube.

I just finished watching Norrad on youtube and not only will I not get that time back but I can say that Hughie is definitely the favourite. By miles.
