Hughie showed some great boxing last night but his style is just not fan friendly. He is like Fury was when he was with Peter, great technically but boring to watch. He is a handful for anyone in the top 15 but sadly I cannot see any one of them taking a fight with him, high risk and low reward. He has almost no fan base and would never sell a PPV. I can only see him fighting with the 15-30 bunch of fighters who would want to use him as a stepping stone. Personally I would like to see him in with Frank Sanchez next who fits this criteria perfectly.

There was some great fights on the boxing shows Dennis Hobson had this summer in Sheffield. Not at he highest level, but 50/50 60/40 match up´s.

I just watched a replay now, having read this thread earlier I was expecting some horrorshow

But Fury did well, particularly in the 5th; the extra size suits him and I think he can still get stronger physically

Hammer may be outmatched but he didn't stop swinging either

I'd like to see what a good aggressive coach could bring from Hughie Fury, but as it is he can build up to a shot at some orgs regular belt no problem from what I see here today

I thought he was not boring. As for Tyson Peter was making him hard to hit and would have improved his offensive game in time. Done same with Savannah and is in process of doing the same with Hughie.

We’re seeing mismatch after mismatch. Evenly matched domestic fights would be a thousand times more entertaining. I would argue that Hughie and Eubank are barely above domestic level anyway.

People think aS long as there’s a ‘name’ it doesn’t matter who the opponent is as they’re getting value or something. The two main fights on that card are people who have done nothing with their careers and Are living off a surname. It’s just not how sport should work. It’s a joke and it’s insulting to people, especially The ones paying them.

Hughie fought a proven euro level, world level gate keeper. Whereas Eubank fought a nobody. So hardly comparable.

Look who he fought to get his title shot against Parker though. If his name wasn’t Fury there’s a lot less chance he gets that. Eubank is worse obviously, I had no issue with the Hammer fight tbh to get him back into it but the rest was terrible. I was just making the point

Might have got Parker fight as he fought for free. I think he won that fight. Eubank is unbelievable. He is just waiting to feast on a name well past their best.
