He is skilled, but wait until he fights another top heavyweight and he’ll run a mile like he did against Parker.

Hughie Fury is the second best active British heavyweight.
Anthony Joshua is the best, and just happens to be number 1 in the world right now too.
Tyson Fury cannot be rated as an active fighter.

Hughie's performance against Parker was quite bad but Parker is one of the world's top fighters too. And Hughie is just 23 years old so he might improve a lot.

I would put Dillian Whyte ahead of Hughie as well. As soon as Hughie goes up another level then he will get found out again. Yes he is young and still learning but I think he European level at best.

He is good. Just had a lack of power for a heavyweight. I’ve seen people moan about Hughie on here who’ve also proclaimed Tyson as the second coming of Christ! There’s not much in them at all. Very similar styles.

I agree he looked a lot better lat night without his skirt but we have to balance that against the fact he was fighting a glorified unfit journeyman in Sexton.

You are correct as Tyson is just a bigger version of the same style.

I find it difficult to be entertained by either although last night was a lot better on the eyes.

True but Whyte beats an unfit, fat, slow Browne and he is the most feared boxer on planet earth.

People take everything to extremes. Hughie imo is a handful for any heavyweight but that is more to do with the fact that heavyweight boxing is pretty ****

I think Tyson is the most skilled heavyweight in the world, but was he better at 23 than Hughie was ? I am not so sure.

Hughie is at a much higher level already. He’s already had a world title fight which in some eyes he’s got a real case to be aggrieved that he lost. Tyson has had one world title fight in his life and that was age 27. I’d back Hughie to beat every single one of Tyson’s opponents pre Klitschko bar maybe Chisora.

I think Hughie would beat any version of Chisora as Chisora is too flat footed and lacks reach and plods forward in straight lines. Agree about other opponents too. I think he beat Parker, and that was his first competitive fight in 18 months.

He was hardly found out by Parker, he almost won the fight. Parker had no idea how to deal with him

Like Joshua, he contained him which is the right tactics against a fast heavy puncher like Parker.

How can you not be entertained by his movements and classy old skool style? I find it a pleasure to watch the proper gypsy sash round the waist style. Absolutely love it in a heavyweight. Jack Johnson was similar.
