On a serious note, Duco's winning purse bid was over $4 million.

Hard to see them just turning around and saying: "Oh, so you want it in the UK then? Yeah sure. No problem."

I think I red that they want to buy over the venue. Maybe Team Fury can see a real big profit in England and therefore can offer Team Parker an amount they cant refuse, or, are working towards that as we speak. Im sure I red something along those lines as their reasoning.

Is Hughie in New Zealand yet? Does anyone know? Fights 2 1/2 weeks away and Hughie whos never been to NZ, I dont think is here to even acclimatize, should that matter.

Haven't seen anything suggesting Hughie and Co have arrived in NZ. So my guess is they haven't yet.

Did read where they were worried about sparring partners. So perhaps they will get as much sparring done before they leave as they can.

On that basis, arriving anything up to about 1 1/2 weeks out from the bout won't do Hughie any harm, and that is still another week away.

Hughie is not confident in getting a knockout, his only chance is to win a decision, so he does not want the fight in NZ where the judges will be influenced by the crowd.............makes sense.............

Do you even know who the judges are?

It even mentions the Ruiz fight and how Fury felt Ruiz shouldve won that. I was a lil annoyed to read that as earlier on, I didnt hear Fury mention that when the fight was getting put together and the venue in NZ was pretty much confirmed. We dont know if Fury actually said that as this source is shady for now but if that is his take on the fight then thats all good, no problem there. Its just annoying that they mention that Ruiz fight now as to support why he wouldnt want to fight in NZ.

Just typing what I just did, makes me really question the source even more as its stupendous for a pro athlete not have given this some forethought earlier on. Ill be gutted if this fight fails to fall through because I see Hughie getting knocked out.

    Parker-Takam fight:
The referee was an American and the judges American, Canadian and a New Zealander.

    Parker-Ruiz fight:
The referee was an American and the judges Argentinian, Filipino and a German.

I read that too and I chuckled a lil at first but Im not around these pros training camps to know if this actually does happen. Fair enough, you need to do all it takes to win.

Still, in 90 to 95% of the cases the home and/or featured fighter wins if the fight is close. With biased (home) judges, the visitor even has to win clearly in many cases.
Home advantage in boxing is one of the biggest advantages to have in any sport.

I wonder if they're influenced by having a hostile home crowd surrounding them. Im not saying that the crowd at Parker-Ruiz was like that as I wasn't there and furthermore, I've never judged any sport so I can only wonder. You'd think they'd have experience and training to deal with influential factors.

I'm a Parker fan but if I felt Parker lost those fights, I would honestly say so. However I know boxing and I know Parker won those fights against Takam and Ruiz as he fought more and more effectively. Judges did really well as they acknowledged a close fight through their tight scores.

Ward vs Kovalev I don't think should've gone Wards way. I felt Ward fought back in a few rounds nicely but again, we see the home ground advantage in the form of a persuasive vocal crowd really get behind Wards punches whether they were effective or not. Judges may say that had nothing to do with it but I saw that fight and Ward winning just wasn't quite right for me, it was a draw for me not that I want those kind of fights to end in a draw. That could also be another factor, judges too scared to make a draw and then turn around to make their way out past Ward fans.

It is clearly an advantage to fight at home, and for many reasons.

But who were the "biased (home) judges" amongst these?

    Parker-Takam fight:
The referee was an American and the judges American, Canadian and a New Zealander.

    Parker-Ruiz fight:
The referee was an American and the judges Argentinian, Filipino and a German.

Worth noting that there was only one New Zealander amongst them, and he scored it closer for Takam than the other two judges did.

I just wish people would research their conspiracy theories a bit more.

Have you found out the names and nationalities of the judges you claim "will be influenced by the crowd" yet?

Truth is their names probably haven't even been announced.

He is a judge here secretly to let the "crowd" know he can be bought. There is a code to communicate in his messages but I have stumbled upon the conspiracy.
