Very sad to hear this. Trevor was an honest Fighter who did the very best with what he had. RIP Champ.
A good solid fighter, who was competent enough to beat anyone outside the top 40 or so fighters of his era.
I had never heard of Hughroy until yesterday when I started down a long road of random boxing articles of the past after searching for material on Bert Cooper. Having come across a few nice pieces on Hughroy, I was intrigued and watched a few of his fights on YouTube. Very competent fighter with a sneaky little jab that I loved watching. I’m sad to hear of his passing but I am grateful that I came across his name and got to be introduced to his fights. RIP Hughroy. This content is protected
You click on Proud Kilimanjaro record and you go into the weird world of Zimbabwean/Southern African Heavyweight names of the late 70s/early 80s. Your Jukebox Timebomb and Hitler the Killer. And if you look hard enough I believe you can find Southern Africa's own Heavyweight Beatles.
I have before, haha, but thanks for giving me the urge to do so again. Which brings me to this: How dare you overlook Captain Cleopus Marvel and Kid Power??? (Plus he fought George Foreman … a guy with like a 1-8 record.)
