    won by a UD11? :huh How can somebody win by a UD 11?

    And why didn't this fight get any mention?

    Anyways, Hugo CAzares is a ****in bad ass and a fight against Ulisis Solis would be a barnburner.

    Because an increasing number of fights are now over 11 rounds, to save un-necessary draws.

    Is that really true? If so, that fcuking ridiculous. First they cut from 15 to 12 rounds, now they have some fights only 11 rounds!

    Whatever next is going to happen?

    Relax.

    It's unlikely to happen with title fights.

    And they were correct to cut them from 15 to 12, so quit complaining.

    I don't know about the 11 round thing, but the fight itself sounds like it was a belter (Vasquez down in the 1st and 2nd, then Cazares down in the 8th).

    It's a common thing now when a minor title under either WBC or WBA aegis is on the line (I guess WBO is in the boat too)... Fight looked like the truth it seems. I wonder where I can find a link or a tape of that...

    I can't believe a fight like this gets unnoticed by the press and the so called '' boxing fans " .... IT was a fight between two bonafide former champions yet the fight go absolutely no mention.. No wonder this sport has come to this..

    You obliviously didn't know much about it if you had no clue it was an 11 round bout.

    11 round because it's not a championship fight (eliminating the 12 round possibility) and not a 10 rounder because those suck.

    Personally I'd prefer 13 rounds for championship fights.

    What are u talking about? Looks at my first post and i clearly stated that it was an 11 round fight..

    I know that championship fights are 12 rounds, and not 11.. obviously

    I was stating the fact that these two were FORMER champions.. I never said this was for any kind of championship title..

    Yea 13 rounds sound good and i wanna see some changes..

    "How can someone win a UD11?" Well you certainly seem SHOCKED it was 11 rounds.

    Gotta remember dude there's always SOME heavy level fight on weekly. It's hard to keep track of every event sometimes. I think most of the hype for this week was on Fat Pants/Eddie Chambers and JCC Jr. Sad that Hugo got left out in the cold as I'm a big fan.

    That wasn't my point. My point was that unless it's a championship fight (or some other special BS) it can't be 12 rounds. Obviously 10 round fights are a ripoff so I can see why they went with 11 rounds.

    ^^ Arriba, I wasn't shocked bruh.. Just confused because I couldn't remember the last time i watched an 11 round fight... what about you?

    Yes, non title fights can't be 12.. boxing 101... I think u misunderstood me earlier..

    anway 13 round is a great idea and hopefully it can come into fruition.. It needs to be done..
