Definitively not a hometown decision. Garay won 11 of the 12 rounds on my card.

Green would have made it a closer fight for sure but I think Garay would have won by UD.

His style is very similar to Firat Arslan's ones. He could be Arslan's brother.
Not a lot of pop in his fists, impressive desire and determination to win a fight by all means, great willpower, mentally tough as nails, good stamina,in your face for 12 long rounds, decent defence, limited skills,stiff,one-dimensional,always on the attack.
He is n ot a very versatile fighter, but he fights extremely well with the handful of guns he has at his disposal.

Anyone really seen Garay vs Barashian??

One sided fight ...........according to the news. I am a little bit sceptical as their encounter took place in Garay's backyard in Argentina.

No really, I saw it live yesterday. Garay won 11 of 12 rounds on my card. Barashian was looking for the knock out punch all night. He hurt Garay in the 10th but Garay managed to stay on his feet and recovered pretty fast. Other then that, Garay dominated Barashian.

    Thanks for the info,scorpy!

    Entertaining fight,scorpy??? Fun to watch??

Sounds like Barashian vs Stieglitz. Stieglitz easily outpointed and outboxed Barashian who relied too much on his punch.Barashian scored a flash knockdown against Stieglitz, but coudnt turn the tables.

Both Garay and Barashian are decent fighters, but neither of them is able to defend the world title for long.

Well, I thought the same about Firat Arslan. I may be wrong once again.

I had Garay beating Erdei clearly the second time around, first fight was a toss-up.

The fact that both fights were in Germany definitely affected the outcome.

two tough fights for him(tarver and dawson) he needs to get a couple of more "easier"fights until he is ready for the big dogs IMO

I am still regretting Garay's DQ loss.

He had a good case for being undefeated despite those 2 controversial Erdei decisions.

Then he goes and KTFOs a journeyman after the bell. :!:
