He's a tough fighter, no doubts, but I think Danny would've take care of him.

 

Still, he can always tell his grandkids he at least made one successful defence of his title.

 

We will never know as Green forfeited the belt instead of defending only to come back & fight Vanstomatocanz. Actions speak louder than words my friend.

 

They certainly do, although him being dusted by Gabriel Campillo doesn't strengthen his case.

From what little I did see of Garay, I was never that impressed with him, but he still packed a punch, and only jizz swallowing nut huggers like you would think that Green really did experience an epiphany and not want anything to do with Garay.

Sounds like the whole 12 rounds of the Green/Drews fight eh?

 

Hopefully the real reason Green did what he did will come out some day. The public perception, rightly or wrongly, seems to be based on a reluctance to fight Garay. It's an easy conclusion to come to when you factor in his subsequent comeback, particularly if you believe he didn't just comeback for another Mundine payday.

 

How would the result of a fight that has just happened have any impact on Danny's decision to dog out of a Garay fight a year ago?

Green got beat by Beyer twice. It's not that hard to imagine him taking a cautious approach to someone like Garay who had some very close fights with Erdie(sp?).

You're ridiculous mate. I remember your thread in the general forum 'Tarver has no balls' where you called him a chicken**** for apparently backing out of a Green fight, yet not long afterwards he takes on Chad Dawson twice, yet your idol shits himself when forced to fight Hugo Garay

Garay losing only makes Greeny look even more pathetic for retiring.

Also, I never claimed that Garay was big ****. I challenge you to show me one single post where I rated him as a big gun in the division.

firstly i supported danny and was happy that he won the drews fight i didnt start hating him until his post retirement doco on fox.secondly you started a thread in the general forum calling tarver a coward with no balls for apparently running from the fight with green.yet he takes on RJJ before he was shot to **** takes chad dawson on twice and fought bernard hopkins yet supposedly pissed his pants at fighting danny 'i got beaten by the SMW supremo markus beyer' greenatsch
