Hey, you have some personal problems with Erdei or what?

Personally I like Garay's style way more, and I was rooting for him both times, but I see Erdei also causing trouble almost everyone, he is a decent technician with a boring, dull style, but very difficult to "break".

But they won't let him out from Germany, I don't even think they count with him any more since Erdei attacked Universum after they failed to arrange the unification with Green.

I think Garay would have a good chance to beat Dawson. His style is similar to Johnson's but he might be quicker, what do you think?

this was a very enertaing all action fight where the ref was not involved for more than 20 sces in the whole 36 mins.
fought at a good pace/no holding /plenty of offense /skill/action.
garay has a good workrate and a pleasing style and braehmer matched him with his southpaw stand up style in a good gell of styles.

rate it a 8 out of 10 just a loittle to obvious the scoring to rate it higher, but an enjoyable fight to watch

Sound like Garay will always be entertaining, in any fight. Braehmer is very good too, so it was going to be a very good fight. By the souns of it, Garay would beat someone like Diaconu fairly confortably, on workrate alone. A rematch with Erdei would be nice too...in a unification fight...Erdei always said he wanted one of those.

Guess Garay kind of legitimates himself as champ with this one.

Hope we get to see an unification fight soon, just not in Germany with Erdei.

I wanted to ask this question: I got the impression Garay started to gas as early as the 4th round...how did he manage to keep up such a high tempo throughout, then? Did his bodypunching pay dividends by slowing Braehmer down too?

I think it was just his will. He looked gas but still worked but not for every second but in flurries every 10 seconds or so. Don´t know how he made it. Garay is definitly a fun fighter to watch.

As it turned out as a clear UD for the champ (the 3rd card was too close, I must admit), hopefully no more 'robbery' shouts for Germany anymore... so after Sidorenko, Brahmer has to go home with a L in the record.

Garay could give a very tough fight to every LHW out there. He made Erdei work for his title very hard, IMO the first was Erdei's, the 2nd could've gone either way. I'd favor Garay in a 3rd fight, he looks improved, Erdei looks over the hill. I'd also favor him over Diaconu. Chad Dawson could outbox him like Erdei did, just 10 times more convincing and exciting. The best fight for him would be a war vs. Glen Johnson, although it's a 50-50 fight.

    Well done champ!

I am not sure it would be so easy for Dawson to outbox him. The thing about Garay is that he is not only busy, but he also has relatively fast hands, certainly faster than Johnson. And Dawson has a questionable chin with a shaky defence...

Fun fight, one has to appreciate the effort both guys put in. It was incredibly fast paced with loads of clear shots. It was funny to watch the "century talent" as they call Braehmer in Germany finding out the other guy is quicker and probably better. His best rounds came when he was fighting inside and trading. He couldn't do **** from the distance. It was a pathetic display from somebody who is supposed to be that talented. I give him all the credit, however, for trying to find another way to turn the fight around. Was enjoyable to watch and I hope we get more of Garay and Braehmer in the future!

Garay doesn't have the power to test Dawson, has he?:think

Yeap, the guy is like a machine gun! Consider that Braehmer was coming form SM had a southpaw stance and still couldn't do **** against the fire power and rate of Garay. I have a feeling that a more sound technician and a good counter puncher would box the ears of Garay. But hey, how many of them do we know in LHW? Go Garay!!!!

With the number of shots he throws and his handspeed he has on accumulation because he will land plenty even on Dawson.

Ay, true...and by the sound of it, he's on you, as soon as he notices you slowing down/getting hurt. If he catches Dawson and Dawson is stunned, Garay could do some damage with his fast hands and combinations...:think...the fact that he is so active and doesn't need more than 10-20 seconds to recharge his batteries makes him dangerous against a fighter like Dawson, who likes taking breaks after the first couple of rounds...
