Hugo "The Boss" Centeno Jr. How do you rate his talent? Have you heard of him?

I have only seen him live once. However I have to say I am impressed. The kid seems to be a smart boxer. He reminds me of Dirrell in which he is a switch hitter. He switches up ALOT.

The kid is only 21 years old. Stands at 6'1.5" and has a 78" wingspan and currently fights at 154. He has good speed. Decent pop. Is very articulate and seems to be pretty smart. He also has sparred with Peter Quillin and Sergio Martinez.

I think as long as this kid has a good beard he can go far. My true feeling with this kid is that he will go far in the sport and someone to look out for guys. Not to mention he is in a loaded division.

There is a few of him on youtube. I would embed them in here if I knew how to. He boxes from a distance but is not shy in trading. I want to see him get hit flush though to test his beard. He is a year younger than Canelo so a fight down the road is definitely a possibility.

This is the type of guy that I am talking about when I say Canelo is too short for the division. He could definitely keep Canelo on the outside with his jab.

My boy Centeno is fighting tonight on Showtime. You guys should stay tunned. I am telling you this kid has skills and will be a name to look for in a couple of years. He does not have the paved way Canelo or Chavez has but he has the size and skills to do it.
