Eddie announcing the fights there on twitter

    Luke Campbell v Jairo Lopez
    Tommy Coyle v Kofi Yates
Gavin McDonnell v Rey Vargas world title fight

Says more to come with Dave Allen being one of them. Good/bad/indifferent?

I actually quite like the match-ups - it isn't going to attract any 'casual' boxing fans that card though, lets be honest!

Doesn't look to bad does it, Coyle v Yates not top draw stuff but be entertaining

    Campbell not remat hing mendy?
    Big letdown.
Was looking forward to seeing two brits get crushed on the same bill. Now I'll just have to settle for Latin reve nge over hapless gavin Mc.
Mendy beating Campbell again would have been the icing on the cake....
    :) :)

Word seems to be that Campbell turned down the Flanagan fight for that lol. As for the other fights...meh. Vargas-McDonnell is cool, I think he's getting iced in that one though. Coyle-Yates may well be fun, but it may well be dire. I like Tommy though so happy to see him fighting in that sense

Gavin McDonnell is the most boring fighter in Britain.
Coyle's fight is the only 1 I'm looking forward to

Wow. A non Ppv fight night.

I like Coyle and he's always in great fights. I'm surprised nobody even mentioned his clash with Nurse as ONE OF the domestic fights of the year. Anyway if he loses this his options look limited so he'll put even more into this one. Only watched Yates at Goodison, was a good fight and he certainly didn't disgrace himself, so that should be good.
As much as I try I can't really get interested in McDonnell and the Campbell fight is a bit underwhelming after rumours of Mendy rematch, Flanagan or him battering Cardle which i'd have enjoyed.
Allen will be in with a soft touch but can't really complain about that.

    Campbell fight is disappointing.
He needs to rematch mendy for credibility.
I think he could lose again to mendy. Mendy is all wrong for Campbell.

Wouldn't say it's an enticing card. Gavin McD is hardly an exciting fighter and Campbell should have been rematching Mendy or fighting Cardle for the British. Dave Allen will probably be in against one of plumber Pricey's Eastern European part time victims recently and then you'll probably have some Matchroom undercarders in mismatches to complete the bill.

I'm meant to be booking a holiday some time in Feb. Defo wouldn't be bothered if I missed this card because of holiday or a night out.

Cardle will want British outright love or hate Gallagher he isn't daft never going to defend that v Campbell. Not to bad a bill few big names and world title. I'm not from Hull always thought Coyle man of the people but your 3rd/4th person local to Hull I've heard say the opposite recently

Although Allen is saying he wants an easy fight next but he's a game lad and I wonder what he'd say to the prospect of fighting David Price with a full camp behind him. Coldwell said on Twitter before Price's next date will be announced soon and surely it'll be a step up this time. If the money is right for Allen it wouldn't surprise me if this was put on this card.

Ps. We all know what most on here think of Price. I don't want to get into that debate, just was suggesting what I think could be a possibility.

Coyle vs Yates is a small hall fight.
Rey vargas and mcdonnell haven't beat anyone world level between them.
Campbells ducked flanagan and is fighting some road sweeper instead.

Would absolutely love to see Allen banjo Price. Could you imagine how comical that would be? Allen is awful but he did land several solid right hands on Ortiz, one of those on the Liverpool plumber's soft chin and he's out cold. If the fat Turkish kebab boy can do it, I don't see why Allen can't. Solid chin as well against the plumber's **** poor stamina. Allen could just Homer Simpson the fight beyond round 6 and spark the tired Liverpool plumber out with an arm punch.

Won't happen though, Price is so deluded he feels he is leagues above domestic.
