Humberto told Esto,"El año entrante espero tener dos grandes combates, contra Márquez y contra Manny Pacquiao".

Which means that next year he plans on having two big fights, against Marquez and Pacquio.

He calls out the two best fighters at below 147 pretty gutsy.

Marquez fight could happen. Highly unlikely he'll get Pac. Soto-Valero would be awesome :fire

I dont see any of those fights happening which is unfortunate to Soto but i can see him fighting Valero.

Soto has no business even mentioning Pacquiao's name at this point. Fight and beat someone like Valero and he can call out Marquez.

Maybe Marquez but def not Pac.

Soto's risk/reward status is not appealing.

always wanted to see a Soto-Pac fight but not at this stage and if its above 135 forget it.

Fight should have been made but alas we were stuck with Lario, Velasquez. Soto was too risky at the time. Would have been one helluva fight.

Valero is unproven he never faced someone with the toughness and the skills that Soto has,the best guy Valero fought was Mosquera and he had to get up of the canvas to beat him had that been Soto who his on another level than Mosquera he would probably been stopped.

Right now i would pick Soto to win cause hes by far the most proven fighter, this doesnt mean that i cant see Valero winning its just that i still dont know how good Valero is cause he hasnt faced anyone good yet.

The reverse could also be true. Had Mosquera been Soto that night he might have been TKOed in the first round after getting decked twice by Valero. Mosquera has underrated chin and toughness just to make it out of the first and last until the 10th. Unless Valero fights a dumb toe to toe fight I think he can easily outbox Soto with an in and out attack and tee off at will until the ref or corner stops it assuming Humberto's chin holds up under fire. It's not like he is fleet of foot or hand nor hard to hit and Valero will be doing plenty of that against someone like Soto.
