i always said katsidis had a better shot at soto then jmm, everything soto does JMM does better, you really feel soto would have had an easy time with katsidis, soto could barely even stand in the 11th, katsidis would definately have ko'd him, if some 1 whos vastly less experienced at championship level found him and hurt soto a man like katsidis would have sent him on his way. sotos fitness is remarkably ****, this isnt the 126lb fighter who was duking it out with juarez till the bell all those years ago, i'm not sure whats the story with him and his training camp, but from what i can tell from his recent performances hes either become lazy, hes trying to change his style or hes not a good enough fighter at 135 as he was at the lower weights. what last night reinforced was that soto was running from the main guys at 135 he was schduled to face peterson but refused to fight him, he never pushed for the valero fight (when he was alive and before he went crazy), the man didnt either bother calling JMM out, if soto fights brendon rios he'll be ko'd by the 8th maybe he'll bypass him and fight murray instead.
john murray will give soto a tough fight! soto would win but it wouldn't be easy, he has struggled in his last 2 bouts, he is moving upto light-welter in his next fight, can;t see him winning any titles up there!
I think Soto is a fighter who performs best when he is motivated to be honest... Granted he has looked poor recently but, that said, his last two opponents didn't excatly inspire... No, you get him in with Guerrero or Marquez and he'll look decent again.
