soto has had a hard hard career, even if he is only 29. i see valero wearing him down and stopping him late.
valero is a phony, 25-0 against who? he considers himself elite without even beating any one in the top 10 and his power is inflated by his fan boys on the general forum, if u want to see how good valero is watch the fight he had against vicente mosquera its on youtube he was hurt countless times and even put on his arse by a super featherweight with a 50% ko ratio the man is waiting to be exposed
Valero has too much talent for Soto. Unless Soto has some toughness that we don't know about. Like silly toughness that can see him keep coming.
As I said in another thread, it would be a great fight. A great fight for Valero to prove he's not a one trick pony, also. If Soto can keep coming through his shots which is definitely a possibility, it would be interesting to see Valero's answer. What is Plan B? My gut feeling is Valero would show he has a little more in his locker than people think. I think he would outbox Soto and edge out a decision.
I'm impressed with a few things from Valero. He has very fast hands, obviously he has a lot of power in both fists, but he does leave himself terribly open. His chin is in the air, when he does let his hands go he kind of flails with them, sometimes leaving his right hand down at his waist. Humberto Soto would find a home for right hand, and I think there's a strong possibility that he can take Valero's best shots. It'd be a hell of a fight, one that needs to happen. It could headline a PPV for all I care.
note that i said silly toughness. being tough don't beat valero. as tough as soto is, valero is powerful. one has to give.
Valero is fast, poweful, agile and tenacious. Soto is too slow. Is he tough enough to turn it from an amateur type fight into a pro fight where he forces Valero to dig deep and take punishment. I don't know if he can but it's possible.
