Per the scene: Based on the video evidence, he DOES kind of have a point. On the other hand, he was getting his ass kicked even without the butts/cuts and a Soto stoppage victory looked inevitable. It shouldn't be any sweat off Soto's back to just resume training for a few weeks and get right in there for an immediate rematch in early fall. He'd probably knock Alfaro out within two rounds or so and remove all doubt, and could then move on with a clean slate - and it wouldn't really interrupt his plans of moving on to bigger names. :good
