I thought he would win a UD.

(although I predicted a TKO in the Brit prediction league and a UD in the Euro league, I did at the last minute decide on a UD, but thought it would be much closer).

I gotta give props to Khan he boxed brilliantly tonight. He stuck to his game plan and i can't say he fought a crap fighter because Kotelnik was a solid world champion. The kids down well and i didn't like him to much but tonight he's won me over.

    Good Luck to Kid

My prediction looks like **** now.

Well done Amir; fought a smart fight and his punch resistance DID look better. Kotelnik should have started his late drive earlier than the start of the 12th (he looked like he gallons left in the tank), but that can be put down to Khan bamboozling him for the most part.

It was a very good performance.

I just hope he doesn't **** the belt away and sign for a match with Morales.

Hats off to Amir solid performance but Kotelnik was a poor champion.

Speed kills. So does a decent jab.

    No, comon.
Just cos he got schooled tonight by a skilled fighter, dont have a short memory mate.

He was a solid champ. Just look at his previous fights against good opposition.

I didn't think he would last a round, every time he got hit on the chin I was ready to get back on ESB and announce me brilliance. Fair play to him.

I'll have a serving not so much for the prediction as I was unsure, but I didn't think Khan's chin would improve at all.

It's improved a little at the least, Kotelnik punches harder than Willie Limond and Khan took them well. We don't find out quite how much until he faces somebody with above average power though.

All credit to him, he fought the right fight for 12 rounds and showed great discipline for the most part. I'd say the key words were speed, jab and ring generalship.

Now, I hope they keep the belt he just worked so hard to win.

Great performance from Khan. Hats off to the lad, he did what Roach told him and schooled Kotelnik. His defence was much better, he used his tools effectively and his stamina was excellent. I just hope he doesn't drop the belt and fight Morales.
