Hunt turned down JDS fight (Rumour)

    Seems strange considering he was lobbying for it yesterday, and certainly seems very strange when you factor in his 'fight all comers' persona.

    This is all according to Helwani's twitter, which supposedly comes from Dana.

    Anyone else know anything more about this?

    According to @danawhite's twitter, @markhunt1974 "turned down" the JDS fight. Just spoke to Hunt, he declined to comment on the situation.

    Not like him at all

    However, Mark's desperate for a title shot. NO WAY does he want to have to go thru JDS first

    I would think beating JDS would get him an instant title shot

    On Bleacher Report, it was saying Dana turned down the fight. Hunt probably got word from the boss and that was that.

    Don't believe it, since the begining of Hunt in the UFC BBF doesn't seems to be too hot for him to get into title contention....

    IMO it's ****in BS and DW need to get shot big time....


    EDIT: Yeah, I'm happy now the fight is on, DW is the greatest human being in the wolrd

    Bingo....cmon, seriously, he is ****in 38 years old, anybody thinking that he would ****up a title shot by not fighting someone needs to get his head fixed !


    But the UFC machine is already at work, soon we will have ****** saying how Hunt was afraid of JDS....

    Hunt has a better chance against JDS than other top tier guys so it doesn't make sense.
