have you guys seen Hunt vs Nakasako ?

    here's manhoef vs hunt
    [yt]p4zQMGQj_-I[/yt]

unfortunately i can't find clips from his nakasako fight...but in that fight , nakasako lands a hk (on his neck i think )...and instantly floors him (just like manhoef...)

Only difference is that it happened under K1 rules...so he had the time to get up in time (after 5 or 7 seconds )...
But in mma , manhoef just had to continue with the ground & pound..

when crocop knocked him down..i thought he woulda been able to pull the same in mma , but his hk had no effects in their rematch.

Ahh. I can see now why it knocked him out. He walked right onto those punches. Even if you've got a granite chin a murderous puncher + walking onto punch = KO. I was quite shocked when I read that Manhoef had knocked him out that early.

Yeah he seemed off his feet when it landed. His extra bulk assisted in getting KTFO.

As I said on here before its highly unlikely we will see Manhoef in the UFC. The guy just loves to fight and fight regulary. Also the UFC wouldn't let him compete in kickboxing tournaments. Don't know how much K-1 are paying him or how many fights he has left on his contract but the UFC should offer him a nice tempting contract. He would be a dream for the UFC. He is exciting, scores loads of KO's and is also willing to take fights on short notice. Lots of good matchups for him at both 185 and 205 in the UFC.

The UFC already courted him. Melvin told them to **** off when they wanted ALL options on him.
