Now Roy Nelson has been given the gig of welcoming Big Foot to the UFC Heavyweight division, what do you guys think will happen? Big Foot can be tagged, and isn't a massive hitter himself. Could Roy land a big right hand like Kyle? Or just plain smash him like Cormier? (Hell no from me on that comparison BTW!) Winnable for Roy?

Nelson is an ace grappler but after seeing Big Foot maul Fedor and his strength and size I think I'd be worried about him getting top position than Roy attempting to take him down.

Cardio; obvious edge to Big Foot.

Also, of less importance, where does this leave Cain Velasquez? It was rumoured he would fight Silva.

When's Shane Carwin due back? Both coming off losses, that would be a natural matchup IMO.

EDIT: And it's a big one. Dos Santos Vs Overeem will have a no.1 contenders bout between Cain Velasquez, coming off a (possibly demoralising) first round loss to Champ' JDS, and Mir, coming back from being banjo'd to pull off a slick (and sick) sub. Who takes it?

Is this supposed to be on the undercard for the Overeem/Dos Santos fight?

I believe it is Sir. :good

I'm certain it won't be a no.1 contenders match

EDIT: Mir Vs Velasquez winner will get the next title shot. So my joke carries even more weight now :tong

I would've preferred Mir Vs Werdum myself.

Damn, this card is gonna have these 3 HW fights? That is starting off as a solid card. I would also like to see Werdum on there, Hunt too!

That card will be highly entertaining.

Who do you want Werdum to fight now? Mark Hunt? Mitrione? Stefan Struve? Pat Barry?

I would like Werdum to Pat Barry or Mitrione, and Struve v Hunt :thumbsup

Barry is fighting Johnson, don't want Fabricio to have to wait too long.

I would like Hunt Vs Struve. Winnable for both and guaranteed to be fun.

Mitrione just isn't relevant enough for Werdum, who's one of the best Heavyweights in the World. **** knows what to do with him

Hmm, Werdum/Struve may just be on the horizon. If not, the only real other option would be Hunt. He has already beaten Gonzaga twice, so that isn't very interesting.

We may see Werdum/Struve and Hunt/Gonzaga. Although Travis Browne is another guy to factor into the equation, as well as the often overlooked Mike Russow.

Ideally, with these fighters, I would like:

    Werdum vs. Struve
    Hunt vs. Browne
    Russow vs. Gonzaga

None of these excite the **** out of me, though.

Not all that exciting no but Hunt, Russow, Browne, Gonzaga and the winner of Barry/Johnson should fight amongst themselves. See who can break out of 'that' level.

Struve Vs Werdum works. But Mir Vs Werdum and Cain Vs Shane would've been better IMO :D

How'd ya see Velasquez Vs Mir going R_F?

Similar to Nog/Mir II, except Cain will keep blasting away with punches instead of trying for a guillotine.

    Cain TKO1.

Bigfoot vs Nelson is a **** fight. I'd have liked to have seen Mir vs Werdum, Bigfoot vs Cain, Nelson vs Hunt.

I don't know why so many people want to see Mir vs Werdum. Actually, I do see why. Mir is perceived as one of the best bjj practitioners in mma's heavyweight division, and Werdum may have the best pure grappling pedigree of any top heavyweight. I just don't think we will see a great bjj match if/when these two meet.

I think Werdum will just knock Mir out.
