I kind of like the way this UFC 146 fight card looks to be stacking up. There are no guaranteed slug fests, but there is a lot of firework potential.

Dos Santos and Overeem may just come down to whether or not Dos Santos can establish his jab. If so, Dos Santos has a great chance of breaking Overeem down. If not, Overeem will use a somewhat slow, varied, attack and bust Dos Santos up from head to toe.

Velasquez and Mir is intriguing. Velasquez should be favored to leave Mir in a heap, but Mir has the power to finish almost anyone in the division with a couple of clean shots.

Big Foot is a solid professional with valid stand-up and good bjj, but is some what slow. Nelson can make things fun if he finds a way to use his speed advantage. Nelson is not as fast as Cormier and Kyle, but he is a little quicker than Silva. Silva has shown a propensity for being dropped and finished, but both of these guys have also shown amazing resiliency. This could end up being fun.

Yeah. His back. Even if he comes back he's not going to be a top level talent.

Silva vs Neslon stinks !!! , from a fan friendly perspective , it will be an uninspiring fight and one the casual MMA fan will not enjoy or appreciate

Its stupid match making , why didnt they make Mir Werdum , Velasquez Silva ??? , they are great fights , and on the under card of dos Santos Overeem thats a massive card :deal , no pun intended  , i cant help but think theyve really missed a trick here the UFC

Looking at the fights , i cant see Mir lasting 5 minutes against Velasquez , and i do genuinely give Big Country a chance " early on " against Silva , if Silva secures top position he will wear Nelson down and once you do that against Nelson , you have him beaten , that said , Silva's a slow plodder who tends to struggle against dynamic opponents , Nelson does posess an over hand right which lesser strikers find difficuilt to pick , if Roy Nelson is comfortably physically with the pace of the fight (if it stays on the feet there's really no reason why he shouldnt) it will be a competetive fight

Cant help but think whats up next for Werdum ?? Mark Hunt ??

Do you still think Cain is the dynamic all-conquering G.O.A.T, Winfella?

His chin is abysmal IMO. So is Mir's, and I agree Cain will bash him up, but JDS will just starch him again, looked like man Vs boy in there and JDS was the injured man.

Cain was coming off an injury, so there's enough incident to have a rematch, I wouldn't really be interested though.

And its really annoying when people attack a heavyweights chin. Its the heavyweight division, and when this kind of stuff happens, its against fighters like Hunt or Barry or Mir or Lesnar or Cain or Overeem, guys who if they connect, will hurt you. You can't really take a bunch of punches from the heavyweights without being KO'd, your chin in the heavyweight division isn't any better than the other divisions.

All true but there's no doubt some take punches better than others. It's the Kongo fight that leads to my doubts, and yes, I rate Kongo's power.
