And does 1 mill plus viewers on triller. Lmao Shame on mike, hes so scared of flippy. Dillion Whyte in hiding. Hearn wants nothing to do with big mike.
My Facebook feed blew up about Jadakiss and Cam'ron, same way it did about Gucci and Young Jeezy. Nobody mentioned Hunter or anyone else. A million views for a Verzuz, everyone who tuned in for the boxing posted in the RBR.
Absolutely not... at least not until he's given up on him and is ready to cash him out. He saw how good Hunter's chin is against Sasha, no one willingly decides to go to war in a slugfest against even this version of Povetkin. Well Mike did, and should have came out on top. He's faster than Whyte, has a better jab than Whyte, has better footwork than Whyte and will land on Whyte with far more frequency than Whyte will land on him, and from angles Whyte won't even be close to prepared for. He's literally the nightmare opponent for Dillian.
Whyte has the power but Hunter is clearly the more intelligent guy in the ring ,his movement is good too. His fight with Usyk was a good one, Hunter won rounds 2 and 3 but then Usyk adjusted and dominated the fight, still the fight is a great watch.
Hunter was never a cruiser. Not to downplay usyks performance but hunter was a heavyweight for aslong as i can remember. Guy is 6 ft 3 with arms to the floor. I think mike was weak at cruiser. I didnt think he looked right at that weight. I think at heavy mike has his best shot. Whyte has nothing for hunter. If they thought ghat was a good fight for whyte they wouldnt have screwed hunter with that draw vs povetkin and then tried to cherry pick povetkin. They woulda fought hunter then. Whyte has nothing. Mike will control whyte with his jab and stay ahead of him all night. I want to see it to shut some of these idiots up but its not gonna happen.
No heavy stopping mike. Might be s good battle and a close decision but no heavy out there blows mike away. Too much experience.
He deliberately came lighter than Usyk and had the lighter punch in the fight, I almost mistook him for a featherfist because that was his only fight I'd watched so I was surprised when I saw that most of his wins at HW had come by ko, so you're right on that count he does look a lot better at HW than CW.
Whyte wants nothing to do with any dangerous opponent post-Povetkin in a non-title fight so he's going for a 2 year inactive featherfisted glorified journeyman who couldn't put away Pavel Sour in 10 rounds (an extreme glass chinned journeyman who Hughie put away in 3, Gorman in 2 after 7 KD's and Makhmudov in a single punch). However, the now 33 year old Hunter essentially said that he saw Hrgovic as too risky for the reward, like the rest of the IBF top 15 who also won't fight him in a final eliminator. Hunter beat Kuzmin and Bakole comfortably but Usyk schooled and absolutely battered him to the point where it could have easily been stopped in the 12th and Povetkin was 40, so getting outworked by him in the later rounds is embarrassing for a "prime contender". Povetkin also wasn't credited a KD for a shot that sent Hunter reeling back into the ropes so the draw was a fair result. Whyte fought a more worn and older Povetkin than Hunter but he actually did a vastly better job until the uppercut sparked him: displayed an authoritative jab and powerful hooks to the body and head, good counterpunching, dropped and hurt Povetkin badly multiple times. Whyte has underrated skills, a lot more power than Hunter and he's 30 lbs heavier with similar height and reach. Whyte is chinnier (very likely more so post-Povetkin and less confident) and slower but Hunter's durability is overrated and his engine is suspect. Interesting fight but both have blown it as contenders imo.
Whyte's way too Bakole-ish to handle Hunter, your estimation is as good and essentially the same as mine.
Keep in mind mike was a super heavy his whole amatuer career and only moved down in the olympics to better the team. He gassed at cruiser. Wont be the case at heavyweight.
