I've watched the sport far longer than you boy and there have been far greater demonstrators of inside fighting than the Andre Ward They need not resort to excessive holding, smothering and repeated untold fouls using their elbows and heads to butcher their opponent so they are unable to see.

Ward is an inside fighter. He attacks.

Wlad is a manufactured pampered cheat who can't win unless the system is rigged to his favour. His illegal holding is his entire skill-set. He should have been DQ'd multiple times.

Rocky Marciano used deliberately miss a punch so he could follow through with an elbow. He mashed Don Kockels nuts into a meat patty.
Bowe was DQd for knocking Mathis out while he was down . He cold kocked guys unprotected at weight-ins. He low balled Coatzer.
Lewis used the laces of his glove to tear Vitalis face open. He used his elbows to lift up guys chins and then uppercutted them out for the count.
Cotto head butted and low blowed people like there was no tomorrow.
Holyfield fought two of the dirtiest foul riddled fights in history against Tyson.
LaMotta was a filthy fighter and had the Mob fix a number of his fights.

You have mentioned isolated incidents that have nothing to do with inside fighting and the fighter's mentioned entire gameplan. Most of Ward's best work is done on the outside. his inside fighting that many like yourself fawn over consists mostly of clinching, headbutting, and elbowing with the occasional hook and uppercut.

You asked me to mention better inside fighters, and all I have mentioned have displayed better variety on the inside without solely being reliant on illegal fouls. Isolated incidents here and there which all boxers have committed one time or another does not unsettle that point. As one swallow does not make a summer.

I never implied that the names mentioned were not dirty fighters in their own right, I answered your question and now you want to argue a comparison to how dirty they were compared to Ward.

Show me a fight where Ward has displayed an equal level of skill on the inside?

Wards headbutting is an isolated incident as it only happened in one fight against Kessler. Kessler didn't win a minute of any round from the opening bell. A head butt came after the 5th round so what happened in the first 5 rounds where Kessler got utterly trashed on the inside?
Some of those guys aren't even inside fighters , rather mid range fighters like Marciano and Cotto. Both of them resorted to worse fouling than Ward when they found themselves in close.

That tribute video as you called it was created by a former fighter and current boxing writer . His channel is dedicated to boxing film study . He covers fighters from over 100 years ago to now. To call it a 'Ward tribute video' shows your ignorance and lack of understanding of the sport.
You most likely didn't watch it as it depicts footage of past great inside fighters pitted along side footage of Ward.
