    Over at the scene.

    Fonfara's new trainer is Hunter.

What do you think? Good match?

Hunter does not care about anyone other than Ward. He just goes through the motions of training them and steals their money.

    Best move Fonfara ever made!
He needs Hunter like Stevenson needed Stewart.
I expect Fonfara to comeback strong and get some revenge from Smith.

Its funny I was thinking someone like Stewart could of really polished the Pole into a much better fighter. Manny was an amazing trainer. I hope Hunter helps him out but at this stage in his career I am not sure if he can add value. Lets hope so Fonfara is an exciting fighter.

    No way!
Fonfara is going to beat Smith in the rematch by out-boxing him.
Hunter and Fonfara are a great match-up between technical trainer and technical fighter.

I called the upset before the first match, and it would happen in the rematch as well, Fonfara is a terrible boxer incapable of making adjustments. He's a slugger nothing more, nothing less. Sorry Joe Smith Jr. ruined your illusion that Fonfara was an indestructible Iron Man, making Stevenson going the distance with him seem so insignificant. Fonfara is just as chinless now as when he fought Findlay, only difference is he can take straight lefts better than he can overhand rights..

    Hee!
I never felt Fonfara was any more than what he is, but with Hunter he has a chance to improve. Not like Angulo who cannot learn.
Fonfara is no slugger. He didn't give Stevenson a competitive match because he stood toe to toe with Stevenson. He was competitive with Stevenson because he outboxed Stevenson, beating him with the jab and when Stevenson pulled back with his head up, the straight right hand.

Fonfara has very solid foundational skills which can be improved with a trainer like Hunter.

He'll beat Smith in a rematch if it ever happens.

Smith is to Fonfara what Edwards is to Badou Jack.

Landing a huge shot in the first happens from time to time

No it wasn't. Jack got sloppy with a bum and paid for it.

Joe Smith Jr. is a KO artist with fast hands and a quality fighter and Fonfara got dropped by a shot he never saw coming, and the same thing will happen in a rematch.:deal:

I am not sure if he would beat Smith in a rematch but I do think he would do alot better. He had just hurt Smith in the first round when he let his guard down and paid for it. He was too busy trying to look fancy in front of his fans and did not respect his opponent. Fonfara is better than you give him credit for. I do not think Hunter will add too much though. Fonfara makes the kind of mistakes that should of been corrected alot earlier in his career and at this stage in his career it is hard to make the necessary adjustments to fix those kind of mistakes.

it won't change anything, Fonfara will always be a come forward fighter who pulls straight back and has no head movement and no defense

Don't think Hunter is that great but maybe he can help Fonfara.
