Good post. Especially the reference to Gatti vs Gamache. That was frickin scary. That said, weight bullying is just one of those things, imo; most fighters do it pretty much as hard as they can until they can't and then they move up and we see what's really up.
There is a difference between someone who, according to the article, never made the weight at weigh-in and someone who rehydrates after making he weight. There is evidence that Gotti never made the weight and should have been disqualified. Boxers like Crawford make the weight, as required, and then blow up AFTER the weigh in. Don't like the rule, then change it. But don't compare Gotti and Crawford because, as this article and the judge ruled, Gotti never got down to the weight.
