    Hello.

On Thursday I recently hurt my wrist. I don't know how, but I have an idea. On Thursday I was working on my jab, straight, double left body hook, left hook. I think when I was working on it, at one point I may have hit too low on the bag (some bags have that almost concrete feeling bottom for weight).

Now, yesterday I was working the bag and noticed I felt a sharp pain everytime I threw a left hook. A jab didn't hurt, but I don't throw hard jabs. And, it's not from technique because it ONLY started happening since Thursday, and I have been boxing since October. (I know, not a long time, but long enough to learn proper technique for a left hook). Also, I wear IMF Tech bag gloves, and hand wraps.

So how long should I wait before using my left hand?
I want to use it as soon as possible.

Any suggestions at what I should do at the gym while I can't use my left? I was thinking just throwing a weak jab and working my right cross. Or right hooks.

    Thanks!

wait until there is NO pain at all. if u keep aggravating it it will only make recovery that much longer

    Maybe until it stops hurting...
