HW:Adamek - Estrada (YT)

This was a very good tactical fight from Adamek. Very intelligent boxing. Adamek knew that this is going to be a log fight and he did what he had to do. Guys! This is his 2nd fight in the HW! With a guy who is RUIZ/BYRD mix. It had to be a ugly fight. Tomasz throw a nice combinations, good speed, good movement. I wanted him to KO Estrada but... he is a very very tough opponent. I think that now nobody would like to fight Estrada. Ugly boxing. Go ADAMEK!

 

He did say he wanted a Klitschko. He wants Chris then one more fight then a Klit.

After last night I'd say Adamek's chances against them is like 20-30%. After two more fights hopefully he can get that closer to like 40-45%.

round 1 10-9 estrada

 

round 2 10-9 estrada. Estrada must gas or something.

 

round 3 10-9 estrada Estrada won and controlled the whole round and got tagged by 2 shots that were the most solid of the fight so far. Not enough to steal the round though.

Well I only gave Estrada 3 rounds (3rd, 6th, and 9th)
Go figure on 2 of the judges cards. It is good that he out boxed Estrada but him surviving Arreola is another thing. I say this because it seems he's new bulk makes it so he cant throw a straight punch other than a jab. Also he will have to be a bit faster footed as I don't think he has enough power in the jab to keep Arreola from just coming in.

 

4 and 5 i gave to adamek. 4 was closer then 5. 5 was the first round that was all adamek.

 

6 to estrada and 7 to adamek.

 

8 to estrada. He did more than adAMEK. Adamek has a nice combination mid round but thats all he did. 9 to adamek. Both fighters do better boxing then they do coming forward. When adamek is boxing estrada cant do ****. I dont know why he didnt start boxing him from the begining.

 

Round 10 was estradas best round of the fight. He landed a big shot on two seperate occasions and adamek appeared to be getting tired. Didnt throw and stayed away the whole round before landing a few right before the bell.

 

I had estrada winning round 11 and 12. Estrada clearly won the fight. Thats a worse decision then malignaggi-diaz 1. Estrada picked off alot of those shot throughout the whole fight. I thought estrada clearly landed more and the cleaner shots.

 

Adamek clearly won the fight.
