Maybe, maybe not. Arreola also punches a lot harder than Estrada. He might not tire out as quickly, but Estrada didn't have too much trouble finding Adamek's chin in the first couple rounds and late in the fight. I suspect Adamek will have to move almost as much to keep from getting hit by Arreola, who also has a few inches of reach on Estrada.
Yup, hard to predict what will be the mayor factor here. It depends how much pressure will Arreola incline, however I don't think Arreola will be as fast as Etrada early to find Adamek as frequently, he will try to rush or use jab. From Adamek position this will be more like a chess-match trying to avoid Chris' raw attacks and counter if he can ... more like in Bell or Banks fight. So the key things will be here how Arreola will play, whether he will be able to catch and hurt Adamek (then the fight is over) or if not then how will be Arreola conditioning? If Arreola slow down after a few rounds then Adamek will either outbox him or even hurt and wear down/out later.
If that fight happened, Rico Spadafora would put Hopkins on 1st place in Glass Jaw ranking. Your nickname fits to you, for sure.
adamek landed good shots on the elusive, spoiling estrada, made some clever moves and put solid work in. i think the estrada fight indicates some of the things he could have done at 200 vs hopkins, where adamek would be faster, have better stamina and better power.
I watched the fight few times and the more I watch this fight the more I like it. It wasnt anything spectacular. What impressed me was the fighters speed. Its rare when you see 2 boxers fighting at HW still moving and not clinching. It was because the fight was in distance. The clinches are this what makes HW fights look so awful. Its my scoring: Adamek: 3-8,11,12 Estrada: 1,2,9,10 2,10,11,12 rounds were pretty close and could go in either way.
Anyone save this fight off of youtube? (they took it down) or does anyone have a link for where else it may be online?
