These are the current rankings, and the change in rankings, of some of the heavyweights in action last night.

    21 (+3) Steve Cunningham
    26 (+22) Vyacheslav Glazkov
    36 (-1) Manuel Charr
    40 (+42!) Malik Scott
    46 (-7) Travis Walker
    49 (+/- 0) Bryant Jennings
    51 (+5) Deontay Wilder
    55. (+14) Magomed Abdusalamov
    57 (-17) Konstantin Airich

I know I shouldn't take these as the absolute truth, but Scott +42, Jennings 0? Walker loses to the #3 and goes down 7, while Charr loses to the #2 and goes down only 1? Why was Cunningham, who was coming off two straight losses at cruiserweight, ranked so high?

Scott was ranked artificially low b/c of his long period of inactivity. Now that he's fighting regular again, he'll jump with every solid opponent.
He could be fighting for a title this time next yr.:think

I don't know, I just thought she looked hot. Its probably time for a change to someone new though.

    This.

Furthermore, Tupou was ranked highly, therefore beating him meant a huge jump for Scott.

Jennings didn't go up because his opponent was a can.

Cunningham is ranked so high because he had a very high ranking at cruiser. Fighters lose Boxrec points when they move divisions but Cunningham was a top 5 CW which translates to being a top 20 HW when you take into account the loss in points. I don't necessarily agree with that but you have to rank him somewhere.

I have Cunningham at #12 among heavies. There are alot of former cruiser champs having success at heavy and Cunningham is probably the best of these outside Haye. He looked skinny against Gavern and could stand to put on another 10 lbs.

Glazkov is a huge h2h talent but i don't know if he's beaten enough good opponents to be ranked 26th. He's certainly rising fast. Glazkov and Price are the top tier prospects at heavy.
