Heavyweight premium King, Deontay Wilder says that after he dismantles and KOs Alexander Povetkin on his home turf in Russia that it won't scare Fury into running to avoid their match up. Of course that also depends on Fury defeating Klitscho again in the rematch, but if he does, he has a lot tougher assignment waiting for him in the US of A. :smoke
Phony heavyweight titlist Deontay Wilder, who has never been in the ring with a top ten heavy and who stuggles with bums, is currently planning his excuse for when he throws a belt in the garbage and fights Mike Mollo rather than going to Russia to get his ass kicked.
Far-sighted Wilder needs to keep his attention span closer to home, lest a terrible fate befalls him.
The Furys are some of the only people iv seen saying that Wilder will beat Povetkin. Wont make him any better of a fighter or more likely to do any better against Tyson. Povetkin cannot move his head out the way of a shot and as long as Wilder is careful and he will be like he was with Stiverne then he should be able to win comfortably.
First, Wilder needs to find the bravery to sign to fight Povetkin. Secondly, he actually needs to find the bravery to fly to Russia. Thirdly, he actually needs to find the bravery to turn up on fight night & enter the ring. I do not see all of those three things happening. I think Fraud Wilder ducks the fight, and takes an easier option. He does not ever fight Fury either.
I seriously don't see how Wilder wins this fight. I'm honestly surprised at the amount of people thinking Wilder has a chance. Povetkin isn't fat, lazy Stiverne.
Povetkin has no head movement at all. Wald hit him everytime he wanted to. Povetkin is fine against the smaller heavies.
Wlad had to bear hug Povetkin to death every 10 seconds to avoid a hook on the chin. He illegally clinched more times then he threw punches. He didn't have the boxing tools to keep him at bay. Any normal ref would have DQ'D Wlad after the 3rd round. He beat Povetkin the same way Akawendy lost to Lewis. If Wlad couldn't out box Povetkin then Wilder hasn't got a chance.
Wilder has every right to be confident against Povetkin because he clearly thinks he'll be able to land and as long as he can do that, he's fine. That's what I read from Wilder's comments and I agree with that. Nobody is concerned about fighting Fury so I understand Wilder's confidence against him as well.
