I cant tell to be honest. Fury does seem to armpunch A lot.i would say he has power but not KO power. He keeps his opponents honest but he cant one punch big heavys. If you really look at really big punchers in the last 15 years, you just have: Wlad Brewster Mccline (no idea how to use his power) Lewis Rahman Tua Tyson
He has the most explosive punch, the one punch KO power but Joshua has overall more power, similar to the style of Kovalev/GGG, who hurt you with every punch. That's the reason fighters are afraid of AJ when they felt the first jab, while people go all in vs. Wilder.
Only in his prime and in the first 4 rounds. Brewster was A great puncher and mccline had big power but could never use it properly. Wlad is probably top 5 all time in the power Departement. He hurt almost everyone he fought. He knocked top contenders clean out and koed or knocked down almost everyone he fought. Thats A sign. Especially the koes of Brock, Chambers, Thompson 1, pulev were scary
- Lamon Brewster accused him of illegal wrapping because of the power of the punches he received - Check Samuel Peter Ko. Peter was no glass chin at that time - Check Liakhovits KO - In Chisora fight Helenius was injured, but he still sent Chisora through the ring with just one punch in 1st round. Check that out. Helenius was not able to use his right hand after that punch in that match. Raw punch power and being able to execute it in the ring are two different things. In Punching power Helenius is one of the top dogs. I think Joshua is the undisputed number one in that department today.
One punch. wilder is flawed and opponents think they can do him and get brave then they walk into a big shot and its good night.in his last fight the shot he hit the polish bloke with didn't look like much but he was sparked out for minutes.hearns used to ko fighters like that .one minute they would be on top pushing Tommy back then bang lights out .wilder should try and copy Tommys style if he used his jab more that would work better for him.
A few names within the top levels: 10: Taishan Dong - 270+ pounds. 9. Klitschko, Joshua, Granat, Lewandowski, Price, Helenius - Heavy punchers 8. Wilder, Haye, Parker, Martin, Whyte, Ortiz - quite heavy punchers good speed. 7. Fury, Pulev, Chisora, Povetkin - underrated punchers in power alone.
