I made a mistake as Solis was rated back in 2014, sorry! In fact he was rated as high as #6 in the World, so I stand corrected!

    Vitali Klitschko 14-2-0 (12)
Ribalta, Hide, Byrd, Norris, Donald, Lewis, Johnson, Sanders, Williams, Peter, Gomez, Arreola, Johnson, Briggs, Solis, Adamek (16)

I don't see Jose Ribalta, Larry Donald, Danny Williams or Kevin Johnson in any Ring year-end ratings from 1980 to 2019, which would put Vitali at 10-2-0.

I go by the monthly ratings not the end of the year. Some fighters are rated like 10 months but not at the end of the year and others are only rated at the end of the year.

    Vitali Klitschko 14-2-0 (12)
Ribalta, Hide, Byrd, Norris, Donald, Lewis, Johnson, Sanders, Williams, Peter, Gomez, Arreola, Johnson, Briggs, Solis, Adamek (16)

Also, under Chris Byrd ... I don't see Bert Cooper, Jose Ribalta or Jimmy Thunder in any Ring heavyweight ratings, which drops him to 7-4-1.

Also, under Shannon Briggs ... the Jimmy Ellis who Briggs fought was never rated in the Ring top 10. EVER. (LOL) Neither was Frans Botha. Which makes Briggs total record as 3-4.

Under Michael Moorer ... Cooper, Botha and Axel Shulz weren't rated in Ring year-end ratings, which puts Moorer at 2-3.

Under Bowe ... remove Cooper and Ferguson (Ferguson wasn't in any Ring year-end ratings) ... and Bowe drops to 11-1.

Under Foreman ... remove Cooper, Shulz, Ellis (not the right Ellis), and Boone Kirkman wasn't rated in the Ring Year-end ratings in the 60s or 70s ... which drops George to 12-5 overall.

    More later.

Ribalta, Donald, Kevin Johnson and Danny Williams weren't rated by Ring in any Ring Year-end ratings at any point.

I posted the links to those year end ratings for the decades of the 80s, 90s, 2000s and 2010s. They aren't there.

That makes him 10-2. Not 14-2.

What months/years were Jose Ribalta, Larry Donald, Kevin 'Kingpin' Johnson and Danny Williams rated in the top 10 by RING?

Because those would've been pretty sad top 10s. (LOL)

Or Jimmy Thunder? Or the Jimmy Ellis who Briggs and Foreman fought? Or Jesse "Boogieman" Ferguson?

Boone Kirkman isn't included in any Ring year-end rating. Neither is Bert Cooper. Neither is Pierre Coetzer. Neither is Alex Stewart. What months/years were they rated by Ring?

If you want to include them, show us what months/years they were rated by Ring. I remember when some of those guys were rated by the WBO or the IBF, but not Ring. If we're doing sanctioning body ratings, then a lot of people will have a lot more opponents.

Otherwise, that would put George at 13-5 in cluster above.

This just isn't true. I checked the first two. I have the ratings for Sept 87, in the issue with Michael Spinks and Butch Lewis on the cover. Ribalta isn't in the ratings. He's just not there.

I have the Jan. 1995 ratings in the issue with the headline the State of the Game, and it's Larry Holmes who is rated ... NOT Larry Donald.

I know Williams wasn't rated after Vitali demolished him.

I can scan the pages and post them tomorrow, but I'm going to bed now. I'll check the rest tomorrow. But three of the four here are simply wrong. I don't know how you confuse Larry Holmes with Larry Donald.

If Alex Stewart was rated for 12 months beginning in Aug 1990, he'd have been in the year-end ratings that year. He's not. I just checked the 87 ratings, the issue I picked up had no Bert Cooper.

I'll scan the pages tomorrow. But every one of these I just checked a few minutes ago that I have an issue of the magazine doesn't include these guys you are saying were rated.
