Does this thread need to get made every single day? I wouldn't count McCall or Toney as a contender anymore, and Demetrice King is only a contender in his dreams, so Vitali is the pretty obvious answer.
arreola got taged by most of vitalis big shots and took them well but it was getting brutal in their and arreolas corner had to stop the assault.
Tua's been knocked down HARD twice, just once came after the bell. How many times has Vitali gone down? And is Tua even really a contender anymore?
Tua's style/size leaves you more prone to get hitting hard. Vitali's style/size means he rarely gets hit flush.
Twice? Once was in the amatuers and the other was a knockdown after the bell in which in reality doesn't count but if you want to count that then be my guss. Vitali never been knockdown but he's been stopped before while Tua never been stopped before.
I love it. Hard? Twice? lmfao The Rahman knock down hardly rattled him, he was straight bak up, anbd lets no even get into the whole factt that it was after the bell and Tua clearly wasn't fighting any more. And the other one you refer to could only be the only KO he ever suffered - at the hands of Felix Savon when he was a still growing boy. That really has relevence on his chin today... I'd say Tua or Vitali out of that list, but neither are really contenders are they? Vitali is a champ, and Tua hasn't fought in 25 months.
when did Tua ever get Knocked down in the pros, other than when he got hit after the bell, and was not epecting a punch to come??
He didnt exactly walk right through it but he took it. His legs did a little something, nothing real major and his head was snapped back a great deal. But he took it better than most, which counts for a lot.
