You better watch the fight again Rusty if ya think Tarver did **** all. Totally took Green to school with the jab. Green did **** all due to the fact that he couldn't get past that jab, plain n simple.

That " power boxing " bull**** cost Briggsy the win in the 2nd Adamek fight imo. After he knocked Adamek down early thats all Jack kept referring too. Briggsy thought he could take him out with 1 punch but hardly landed a big shot again.

..I say Hyder would be gone...that slappin' bull**** is just that...bull****!...and tellin' Greens brother to shutup like he did was arrogant and just plain disrespectful...that's the end of him I reckon.

that was pretty much how I saw it too...Tarver had Greens measure after the first knockdown...the knockdown in the 1st that wasn't called a knockdown...and Tarver used his height and reach advantage to perfection...and when Green tasted that power and couldn't deal with it and had no answer..

This guy was a SMW in the amateurs, undefeated and VABL champ for a number of yrs, then he hooks up with Hyder, Begero is SMW champ so he tells this guy to put on weight and to upto Crusier, he would have beat Bagero easy and ended up fighting Mundine but Hyder fcked him BIG TIME!

He is seen in Dannys Corner, his the one they got up from Albury and is juiced up. He cant fight ever again because he sustained a brain bleed from the Watt fight that ended his career, he had to go under the knife. I am not sure when the bleed was noticed but he had atleast another 5 fights after being knocked out by Watt, then one day his eyelid is fluttering without his control, turns out the bleed had ruptured and he needed surgery asap, never fought again.

THis is what will happen to DannY Green if he is not careful.

More money at CW and he was happy with Hyder, had the hand speed etc, was doing ok until he ran into people who could punch, he just couldnt take those blows as he isnt a natrual CW, its the same as Dannyboy, not a CW thus cant take CW blows even from a 42yr old CW whos well past his prime.

Hyder was also with team fenech at the time, these guys were the main scene in Sydney, if you hooked up with these guys you really didnt need to go anywhere else, you just had to play by their rules and do what they say. Unfortunatly your putting your life in their hands and as Caine found out, it ended his career, he should have stayed at SMW.

in some ways thats true because he should not have listen to Hyder, he had a bright and promising future in boxing had he not gone upto CW and taken those hits that caused the bleed. you must also remember he is a country kid, travel to the big city to fight under one of the biggest promoters at the time in Sydney, told he could get more money more fights at CW and would do better at that weight. He was given the wrong advice which has played a huge part in the outcome.

Did he not have family or someone as knowledgeable as yourself to steer him in the right direction?

LOL, ill pay that one. His father was his knowledge, he listen to him as his father was his trainer since he was 8 yrs old up until Angelo took over. When he moved to sydney all he had was Hyder, no family in Sydney etc. Hyder got him a job, put him in an appartment etc. in short, he trusted the guy and the advice he had been given which was his ultimate downfall.
