    :good

I don't think anyone here knows what a hype job really is. All of those guys (Pavlik, Arreola) actually beat or were competitive with fighters of note.

Bojado did nothing of recognition, and just fizzed out.

One guy who recently got a shitload of hype for nothing was Jason Litzau.

Dominic Guinn is another one, although I bought into it as well.

Lacy was exposed by an ATG but consider Lacys resume consists of Sheika (when still rated), Pemberton, Manfredo, Reid, Tsypko, Williams, Vanderpool.
What active American SMW has a better resume overall than Lacy at this time? Consider Butes last oppnent was Brinkley who Lacy victim Reid beat.
Lacys resume is arguable to Butes who many rate.
But yes Lacy was found out along with Pavlik, Taylor, Tarver, Jacobs, Dirrell, Williams, Dawson etc

Lacy lost to the old journeyman Sheika on many a card. He lost 5 rounds to Sheika on the offical cards. That tells you how bad Lacy really was.

What resume? Sheika, Reid, and Pemberton were beyond shot, everyone else was either a nobody at the weight or was faded like Vanderpool.
