i think berto n pavlik are real deals. JCC jr is getting better. Not a hype job, because everybody knows hes protected. He still has the potential. Kirkland is a badass too, but unfortunately he had to go to prison.

Rigondeaux is a hype job. based on the fact people are saying he could beat Juan Man Lopez and Caballero right now. He failed to stop Lante Addy and has had 2 trainers already. A worl class amateur no doubt but the pro game is a different type of sport and to say he would beat any body in the 122 - 126 division like his fans on here are claiming is absolute Hype and nothing else.

agree with most of these, especially hatton, he was overrated and in hindsight never justified his p4p rating, but he now gets treated as if he was a bum which is shocking.

also gamboa, he has one of the worst resumes out of todays top class champions, he really needs to step up in class, aint as if he's a spring chicken.

i disagree with kirkland tho, i see him smashing his way through anyone, he kinda reminds me of tyson, i know people thought the same about lacey, but i think kirkland will come good.

and also cintron, i dont believe he dove out of the ring, but saying that he isnt the real deal either.

:patsch Your list is worst than the OP's. I see your usual anti-American crap in EVERY one of your posts too.

How anyone can call Hatto a hype job is beyond, a two weight world champion undefeated untill his 41st fight, fought all commers and lost to who? The two best fighters of his generation.

Hatton was never HYPED to become P4P Number 1, and that is the only department that he failed in. Dont get me wrong im not saying he was a A level fighter but how people can say Hatton Hype jobe and the likes of Kahn and Angulo the real deal is a joke.

Hatton acomplished alot is his career, a real throwback fighter that took all challangers, just came up short on his two biggest.

    i agree and disagree.
i agree that hatton doesn't deserve to be called a 'hype job'. quite the opposite, it's bad form to pull down one of the few british fighters in recent time who, after he left warren, found out exactly how good he was and that's why we sit around talking about "what if benn fought jones..what if calzaghe fought jones..and so on" - but we never have to do that with ricky hatton becasue he did take on all challengers AFTER he left warren.

the other side of the coin is the "undefeated until his 41st fight" statement you made, which had a lot to do with being a frank warren fighter. thankfully, hatton took his career into his own hands and he is (for me) the british fighter i most respect in recent years.

hatton was limited but still good enough to be considered a HOF fighter, and he certainly doesn't deserve to be labelled a 'hype job'.
