Hyped for Yuriorkis Gamboa vs Daniel Ponce De Leon

Wouldn't be surprised if Ponce pulled a Salido on Gamboa.

 

Whys that?

 

Gamboa is very hittable and gets KDed frequently and Ponce a tough SOB, despite what happened in Lopez fight. Gamboa should win I think but Ponce is a very live underdog.

 

Do you think Gamboa is chinny like some?

with that said of course this is boxing and anything can happen but you cant use the "Gamboa has been KDed frequently" excuse. If anyone was going to be sparked was Lopez because he wast being hurt many times before Salido and was a KO waiting to happen and thats exactly what happened.

Another easy win for yuriorkis.

He's the most technically proficient fighter in the game today along with floyd. Infact, he's as good offensively as floyd is defensively.

He just needs to get in there with more elite opposition to get to the top of the pound for pound list.

Dont believe all the crap about him being chinny, thats all due to him being off balance, hes never been in trouble.

i aint seen much of ponce since lopez beat him, but a feel gamboa has too much for him and it gets stopd midway thru rnds 6-7

 

PDLs a totally different fighter dude especially since hes been with Beristein. Of course Gamboa us the favorite, but an upset or strong showing by PDL wouldnt surprise me. He can still brawl, but shows a technical side hes never used before he isnt as reckless. Not the fastest, but his timing could give Gamboa problems.
