Been saying saying since the first time I saw the lad box, never be more than an also ran, is lucky he is marketable (why I dont know cringeworthy ring entrances, horrible attitude and ghetto talker) GBP are building him up allowing him to capture some paper titles to cash him out sometime in next few years. he will then revert back to his level being a B level fighter.

I disagree with the majority here, I think Broner is a world class fighter. He is not elite level but he is certainly just below that level. His next fight is against Maidana, so why the hate?

I actually pick Maidana to beat Broner so I am struggling to see how Maidana was cherry picked.

Brook isn't in a position to be ducked yet. Good future fight though.

 

Brooke still has a lot to prove, I would pick him over Broner though. Brooke has a better defence, better power and better footwork. Broner would not last the 12 rounds. No way GBP let there investment get destroyed for such a low paid fight though. Will never get made. Broner only gets fed to the wolves when the price is high

My main reservation with Broner is he has made the jump from super feather to welter in no time at all and at 147 we have only seen him in with light punching PM. We don't know if he can take a shot, we don't know if he has a welterweight strength and we don't know if he can be roughed up.
