Take away the paper titles and there resume not to different in terms of quality fought. Broner may have a slight edge, the fact he is a 3 weight champion is why Boxing as a sport is going downhill. Never fought the number 1 in any division he has been in and should have more than 1 L on his record.

I dont see Brook getting hyped people are cautious in there assessment of him over here, its obvious he has talent but he is untested. His next 2 / 3 fights if against good opposition will tell the rest of the story.

If it's that easy lets see a Euro-level fighter do it.

Mr Pibb, unfortunetly the majority of medium skill leveled fighters in Europe dont get millions of dollars and all the influence of GBP behind them to achieve such things. You mention Joe C earlier who I know you dont rate he manged to become a 2 weight lineal champion LINEAL Broner will never ever be a lineal champion and will get beat as soon as he faces any genuine competition.

To win his first title Joe C beat Chris Eubank .... who did Broner beat >? Ponce De Leon it was for a vacant belt and 90% of people who have bothered to watch the fight who arn't hugging Broners nuts or wanting so badly to be the guy who brushes his hair as he raps terribly on his way to the ring will say he lost comfortably.

Broner is a hype job I am not saying Kell Brook isn't but the defence of Broner by his nuthugging fan boys on here is sickening he is untested and gets tagged a lot by supposed lesser fighters. KO waiting to happen.

Unlike Broner though GGG is trying to clean up his division but no one wants to fight him. They are cueing up to fight Broner because they know they can win. Even with the scorecards been written before the fight starts

    Suuuuure....whatever you say.

Broner tried to clean up the weak LW division but Burns wanted no parts.
So he moved up and won a TITLE without a tuneup.

    Golovkin can't do that:hi:

GG is trying to clean out a dead division...at 31 you'd think he'd be a LOT more ambitious.

He doesn't have to VACATE his MW "titles" by fighting Ward or Froch at 168.

What are you guys so worried about.:think

Broner makes GG look like an old cringing coward.:deal

Broner is over hyped, but what the hell has Brook done? He is 27, has had 31 fights, gets talked about as something special, yet hasn't fought one single World class opponent. His last fight was an IBF eliminator, but lest see if he actually goes through with the Alexander fight instead of ducking him again, before we even mention him fighting Broner

I believe GGG has said anyone from 154 to 168 ... any comers not many Froch would take it at 168 and I belive that fight will take place back end of next year.

Burns wanted no part, hmmm does that include the time Broner was offered a record purse to fight in the UK and he said ... what was it again oh yeah NO THANK YOU. Plus there was more than Burns in that division what about Vazquez or Gamboa convieniently ducked to fight a over the hill pillow fisted welterweight for yet another paper title.

Did not want anything to do with the big hitters at 140 ??? Mattyyse called him out I believe who did he choose Maidana LMAO the guys a joke. Still not fought a legitamite A class fighter and he is a 3 weight champion.

Why you bringing up GGG as well the debate is about Broner and his lack of quality opposition and being a hype job.

I am willing to put money on him loosing to Brook, Khan, Matyyse, Garcia, Bradley, Peterson, Alexander, Hell I would go out on a limb and say Frampton would KO him as well. $1000 here to be laid on Broner to lose if he ever grows a pair big enough to fight any of those fighters.

Broner was careful matched by his handlers. They try to make him a PPV star / build him into a big name/draw and match him with Floyd (Floyd's last fight).

I'd like to see Broner vs Thurman or Brook.

Speaking of carefully matched.....look at GG:lol:.....Broner moved UP to a more COMPETITIVE division.

168 is more COMPETITIVE than 160 (just like 147 is more COMTETITIVE than 135)but GG wants to continue fighting in a WEAKER division.:deal:deal

I'd like to see GG fight Ward or Froch.

140 is more competitive than 147 why did he not fight one of the champions in that division ??? ... maybe because Paulile was the WEAKEST champion from 140 - 147 maybe ???? maybe Broner is being so carefully matched its painfull to see ????

On the GG comment a Froch fight would be a great even Ward .... who wants to see that guy headbut his way to victory would rather watch paint dry.

But Malignaggi is still miles better than anyone Brook has fought. As I said, lets see whether or not Brook duck Alaxander again before we start mentioning him in the same sentence as Broner.

I agree Brook is unproven as well I mentioned that ibn a earlier post his next 3 fights will put into context how good a fighter he is. I don't see the hype around him I see around Broner though and in all honesty I don't think Broner or his handlers would want a fight with Brook he hits to hard and is to high risk low reward.
