Nothing wrong with that, so do I. This fight is about skills, not the fighters personally and that's the way it should be.
The Charlo vs J Rock fight is a toss up fight for me and I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed at whoever won or loss. It shouldn't affect either fighters future. If I was to make a call on who I think would win, then I am leaning towards J Rock and the reason being is that I think that he is more composed and deliberate in his approach. He is the smaller fighter but his skills is on par with Charlo's. Win or lose, I think that Charlo's best days are at 160.
If J-Rock wins and blows him out I'll eat my crow forsure, Just dont see it happening, I can see J-Rock winning a close ass SD or 115-113 type decision. But I'm picking Charlo to win a close decision.
J Rock looks like the goods, he hasn't fought anyone at the top level though. So it will be interesting to see, how he handles this big step up.
I'm rooting for Jrock in this because I think him winning makes for a more interesting 154. That division is too stagnant right now because the fights aren't getting made. If Julian winning shakes things up, I'm all for it. Nothing against the Charlos. Speaking of shaking it up, I'd like to see Soro get a break here. I think he's a dark horse in that division.
He might not blow him out but I think that he will out box him. Charlo can punch and that might be his saving grace.
