So a smaller fighter moves up in weight to fight a bigger fighter to win a belt. The bigger fighter won his last fight against a relative nobody, but a year earlier was outclassed, dismantled, and beaten by an older veteran. Yet, this bigger fighter's claim to fame was beating the guy that beat this older veteran fighter. This bigger fighter is slow, plodding, and has essentially been exposed by an older "shot" fighter who didn't look all that impressive in their previous bouts. The smaller fighter...athletic, fast, and dynamic. Although the smaller fighter gets hit, and faces a bit of adversity at first, he starts to adapt as the fight wears on and beats the bigger fighter silly. A lot of people give respect to this fighter for such an awesome accomplishment. Many people even say that this is perhaps the only fighter who can pose a threat to one of the greatest defensive fighters of our generation: Floyd Mayweather Jr.... ....Even *****s. What? Yes, even *****s. I'm not talking about Pacquiao, of course. I'm talking about Sergio Martinez stepping up in weight to beat the crap out of Kelly Pavlik. So why then, are *****s willing to give such due credit (and well deserved) for the great accomplishment by Sergio Martinez, yet are completely downplaying Pacquiao's accomplishment over Margarito? :think Mayweather may very well beat Pacquiao with ease...that's left to be seen (or not). But, *****s, your hypocrisy (and jealousy) is ever so apparent. And before you think I'm some *******, think again. I've given full credit where credit is due. Something a true boxing fan does.
