How would Usyk approach a style like GGG ?

Giving Golovkin a weight advantage as well? Does Usyk owe you money?

Usyk has a few advantages that he would be advised to use.

He is faster than GGG and he has unparalleled lateral movement. He'd be advised to create angles on Golovkin and to stick and move. Derevyanchenko has a somewhat similar style to Usyk although he is probably harder hitting P4P and more inclined to mix it up. He gave GGG all sorts of problems. To be fair to Golovkin though, that was an aged version and there are rumours (could be BS) that he'd been suffering from a cold beforehand.

I think Golovkin would probably try to cut the ring off and force Usyk to exchange. Whether he would be able to is up for debate. Usyk is very slippery even as Golovkin has superlative footwork. I think he might do it. I mean, Dubois managed it. Golovkin would be looking to set up his power shots with his jab and Usyk would be trying to cuff GGG with combinations and then getting the hell out of the way.

I think in an equal weight scenario I'd favour Usyk on points. Maybe. His work rate is very high.

Giving Golovkin an extra 20lb is going to ratchet his already large P4P power advantage off the charts. It's going to make his iron chin into adamantium. If he is able to walk through Usyk's offence and corner him, Usyk runs a risk of getting KTFO.

Its literally impossible to tell what a 6’4 240 lbs GGG would look like.

Should've just put who's the better p4p fighter instead of this slop...

I think probably Usyk is. He's fought guys that were massively larger than him and found a way to win clearly. AJ and Fury are no chumps.

:risas3: A 6'4" 240 GGG would fight nothing like his smaller self....

Um we don't have any reason to believe he'd be faster. Mass equals force which times velocity. Golovkin might be susbtantively faster at these weights.

A 6'6", 250 lbs Inoue would beat them both.

It would look like Usyk/Gassiev. GGG is a pressure fighter but he’s not reckless. GGG would do better than Gassiev but still lose. The Maidana/Chisora unconventional dirty style gives Usyk more trouble than a GGG.

I think Golovkin struggles to land on opponents with good movement.

Golovkin has no defence, he blocks the punches with his head, and somehow KOes his opponent with his insisting powerful shots. But he won't be able to land on Usyk and lose every round.

    Usyk wins by wide UD.
