With Pacquiao after all beating a guy thats 5'10, for a Jr. Middleweight Championship Belt (marg)...(at 150lbs i know lolz)... Would he have the balls to truly fight a fighter at their natural weight class? Vote

pac said he's not fighting above 147 anymore. but if it's cotto, i think given the scenario, he just might consider it. i voted for no anyway as i think there's a very slim chance of floyd losing to cotto.

So does anyone think that Manny or Freddy or Arum feel that Cotto would be too much at 154lbs?

I'd say yes....though the thought of Manny mentioning Cotto hurt him on several occassions and the fact that Cotto's neutritionist mentioned the 145lbs weight was quite unhealthy for Cotto, this would probably sway my prediction ever so slightly.

No. Pacquiao is a blown up lightweight campaigning at welter in which he still routinely comes in underweight at 144. He's a surefire atg so he obviously could and has overcome giving himself size handicaps but he certainly isn't obligated to give even a bigger one. All this bitching about Pac fighting at catchweights that people forget he's always the one fighting with a size disadvantage....significant ones at that.

If Cotto beats Mayweather, then his worth would go up considerably. Because of this, Pac/Arum may consider moving up for him. It's only Cotto, guys. Whether it's 150 or 154, he's still the same. He'll hardly be that big of a threat that Pac/Arum won't consider fighting him. They've already beaten him up once, remember.

Yes, Pacquiao would at least be willing to fight Cotto at 154 lbs. Cotto doesn't have the ability to outbox Pacquiao and he can't take Pacquaio's power on the inside. It'd be a slightly more competitive replay of their first fight.
