had the work ethic and drive to be the best like some athletes ( Michael Jordan , Tiger woods, SRR , ALI , Kobe, Jerry Rice , ETC ETC ETC )

Would have he been the best HW of all time? I think he could have (personally)

it's highly probable that he would've been the undying face of boxing for the remainder of the sport

Mike Tyson lacked an all around game, he never had a plan B, and because of this and regardless of work ethic and drive he would never have been the greatest HW of all time, not even close.

You obviously didn't see him under Cus and Kevin, He had a plan B and C, In his fight against Tucker he changed from slugger, to counter puncher who works behind his jab, to boxer-puncher all in the same fight

It goes deeper than work ethic. Tyson had a tremendous work ethic as a prospect and later champion.

The problem is that Tyson was (and always has been) an emotional wreck, even before he started fighting.

He had every physical tool you could possibly want any heavyweight to have (except size and reach) but his emotional baggage would always, aways get the better of him eventually.
    What a pity.

At any stage of his career, if you had the balls and power to get the man on the back foot you always had a chance.

no....Tyson was mentally ******ed, well atleast mentally unstable..... but if Tyson had the mind of a normal man and not a lunatic, then yeah......there wouldn't be anyone to stop him

he had the tools to be the greatest, except for a brain....which is why he worked so well with Cus, because Cus was the brains of the operation...so Tyson didn't have to think, only follow orders

Tyson is the Scarecrow of boxing.......straight from the Wizard of Oz, he only needed a brain and he would of been the greatest
