Very hard to pick but I'm gonna say Saldivar by a very close disputed decision.

Yeah i think Saldivar aswell, that pressure could mount up on Barrera, and it wasn't the kind of pressure that was easy to counter either, very clever.

I would luv to see Kostya bang him out cold, but it's just a stylistic thing, i could see Oscar using his handspeed to smash home long type shots that you would think could stop Tszyu. However, i don't see Oscar constantly using raw strength to push back Tszyu, as it wasn't his nature, ad when you hang around on the outside against Tszyu he can sparko you, though Oscar had a very good chin.

I'll reluctantly take Oscar, hard one though.

Chris John vs Eusebio Pedroza at 126

 

Pedroza for me by stoppage. John may very well be ahead on the cards at the time, but he can be caught and Pedroza could bang. I think his aggression and tendency to come on strong late in fights means he wears John down and stops him. I think John has a solid chin though, so I'll say round 9.

Miguel Canto vs Pancho Villa.

 

Canto outboxes the wild but effective Villa for a UD over 15 but goes down once

Napoles vs Mayweather at LW over 12 and 15

But at 135 i wonder, Floyd still has his full game there. I don't actually think the distcance would change the winner, maybe the method of victory though, but i still don't think so.

Napoles for me, on the outside he proposes problems for Mayweather on the level he has not yet experienced, and inside he is as good as if no better than anyone he's met, not to mention not predictable for that great defense of Floyd's.

Yeah any match with Floyd would be, he ain't getting embarrassed by anyone and he was simply brilliant. It just can't be denied, a natural if ever there was.

 

yeh he really is good hes up there with the best but his resume lets him down big time

 

I still think that in his prime, or say strictly at 130 for the sake of the point im making, his resume is good. At other weights he certainly had opportunities to enhance his greatness, no doubt, but that resume at 130 is good imo, or very good.

 

yeh his 140 147 days let him down at 130 hes in my top 10 maybe top 5 if i made a list
