Ummm.....has Arce ever fought at Bantam?

    I say Ayala points.

Seeing as the other guy didn't answer the Naz-McgUigan, I say McGuigan comes out on fire and drops Naz in the opening round.

He tries to follow it up in the second but Naz starts to counter him.

Naz drops barry in the 3rd. McGuigan dazed but gets up.

    same round; Naz finishes McGuigan.

I'm going for Pacquiao, i've seen Ishimatsu and was impressed, but Pacquiao i just rate as quite immense to be honest and think he will win (haha, no analysis for a place like the classis that is it?).

Yes, Arce fought once at Bantam, and someone did Naz/McGugian.

JCC to much for Ike, bulls him around the ring, landing thudding blows, eating some, but landing more. Gets the accumulation stoppage late.

The '38 version of Joe Louis gets his crack at the '51 version of Marciano.

Louis by stoppage.Seeing as Marciano was dropped by old guys out of their best weight, I don't rate him that high on resume OR H2H. Still makes my top 10 post-war HW's mind.

I disagree with your opinion of Chavez-Williams but that's what this thread is all about:good

I know how it works. I started the thread. I thought you had answered, which it seems like you did, and were throwing it out for someone else to make a matchup. Mixup is all.

This could be interesting. 2 guys with massive power trading bombs could have any number of results, but The Rock a little too classy for Shavers, and finishes him in under 7.

I think Taylor would be getting tagged fairly often as he came in and out and peppered Tszyu with shots. Ultimately I don't feel Tszyu will finish Taylor, and Taylor's super-fast combos wear the tough guy out to an 11th round stoppage. Tszyu gives it his best though.

Orland Canizales vs Eder Jofre at Bantam

I'm picking Jofre here, i know Canizales has enjoyedmuch praise of late here, and come to think of it, he could go some way to emulate the Harada type perfromances, letting shots fly and getting back out of there. But in my opinion Jofre has more time to have a look at his opponent here, and he'd do the scoring with his quality shots from all ranges.

    Jofre on points.

    Meldrick Taylor vs Niccolino Locche

Well from the style i have read Cocoa Kid uses, i could see him stopping his man on accumulation to be honest. But even though i haven't seen him, for some reason i feel confident that Cotto was more skilled in terms of technique. The Kid can be beaten by the best opposition, the other members of the row i always felt a tad more formiddable than him. If Cotto decides to box on the outside though, i don't see it being his night, his defence just isn't top of the range in my opinion in boxing mode, he would need to engage The Kid and try and win a war with a superior skillset.

How do i pick this one? 50/50 in my book, i'll take the Kid seen as though we're in classic!

I think Evander would get into a brawl & eventually outlast Sharkey. Start piling up the points & combo's. Jack wilts under the pressure in about the tenth.

Don Curry .Vs. Felix Trinidad @ 147. 12 Rounds.
