good fight here .... well match up

i think Calderon slicks his way through the first 5 rounds and tastes Carbajals power and starts to be more negaticve and spoil. Carbajal turns it on and stops him late.

Vernon Forrest vs Curtis Cokes @ WW over 12

 

Cokes was a great tactician, but Vernon has too many tricks up his sleeve. Forrest slips by on a close UD victory.

Pattewrson does well, as he scores fast combinations on Holyfield. In the later rounds Holyfield grinds it down to a slugging match & has Patterson hurt on a few occasions. Turning the tide for a UD win.

very, VERY hard this one. I say Canizales takes it as Pintor waits too long to pick his shots; I say he lands some good leather but Canizales is too cute for him.

Livares is the faster fighter zand uses this to come out with fast hooks and straights an dthen smother Zarate. Olivares UD15

Ivan Calderon vs Michael Carbajal

 

Thats a mismatch. The Body Snatcher woulda sodomized DLH at 154. Oscar would NOT have lasted the distance.

 

Carbajal late stoppage..closer then one may expect on the cards around the time it gets stopped however.

Pongsaklek Wonjongkom vs Myung-Woo Yuh @ 112....

 

Im not sure Pong would be the one throwing the greater volume Brady, but throwing shots with greater precision most definitely. Wuh was pretty much a dictionary definition volume puncher..a little crude at times but he just made up for that with a constant and intense workrate.

Pong is fairly strong for the weight and I would assume to smaller Wuh's physically style would have less impact against him. I think it would be a fight that may well have fairly large discrepancies in the scoring depending on where it was held and what the judges liked.

Quartey stops Cotto late..Big fan of Miguel but thus far he has showed me he is a level below Ike.
