Hmmmm... I think Lyle might outbox/outwork him for some of the way early, but Baer would step it up late and KO him. Next up: Carlos Ortiz vs. Meldrick Taylor at 140.
Taylor is most definitely going to give Ortiz all types of hell early on...Its going to be shock and awe for the first 5 or 6 rounds. But down the track Carlos will begin to figure him out..He is just so versatile and adaptable I can see him outboxing Meldrick on the inside and beginning to time him from the outside...Over 15 Im fairly confident we are going to see Taylor get stopped. Over 12 its as interesting as all hell...I have a feeling that Meldrick could hold out there but for arguments sake Ill go with Ortiz by debatable decision. I reckon his well rounded attack will get through Taylor's leaky defense enough to bag a razor thin decision. Henry Hank vs Tony Sibson over 12.

Hank would use his speed & boxing skills to constantly beat Sibson to the punch. Tony's a good fighter & will press Henry, but Hank is just too versitile & fast for Sibson. Hank 12 UD. Wilfred Benitez .Vs. Carlos Ortiz 15 Rounds.
Benitez takes away Ortizs jab and lands sharply with his own one early. ortiz starts to try and fight and has some more sucess but Benitez is piling up the points and takes a UD Alexis Arguello vs Johnny Famechon @FW ovewr 15
At Featherweight against a slightly greener Alexis, I would think Johnny outworks him for a close 15 round decision. But a return bout at 130 Arguello definately wins by 15 round UD or even late round TKO. Luis Angel Firpo .Vs. John Ruiz 12 Rounds.
Ive missed this thread. Well Firpo would take it to Ruiz so you might see the early stoppage possibly. But Ruiz might spoil early and start to (i know this will sound strange) score (i said it) with the jab, which he can do, albeit in a labouring type fashion. I'll actually take Ruiz as i've seen much more of him and can point out more plusses off the top of my head. Though i'm not ruling out a David Tua type stoppage in the first. Riddick Bowe vs James J. Jeffries.
I say Bowe, he has the size, jab and strength on the inside to do to prime Jeffries what Johnson did to post-prime. Jeffries would try and tough it out but I think Bowe would stop him. Jung Koo Chang vs Benny Lynch
Lynchs boxer-puncher style fares pretty well against Chang and he is able to slow down Changs onslaught to take a decision Santos Laciar vs Jimmy Wilde over 15
yeh i got all 3 and afew others like Zapata, Shin and Magri (off the top of my ead) Hes a short pressure fighter with an excellant jab, good workrte in his younger days and strong with an iron chin
