Well Limin and Corrales would just go to war! Both could whack, but where very durable to a point, but I feel Limon could come through Chicos shots to keep winging away and win a decision, dropping Corrales left to snatch victory by a point. Fair play though, this is the level Corrales should be rated at: too many overrate him due to his untimely demise.
Corrales win a decision via his superior firepower but no knockdowns are scored. Virgil Hill vs Victor Galindez
Hill might use his skills to take a lead. But "El Animal" would start turning it on about the eighth. & have Virgil in trouble in about the 13th. For a stoppage. Meldrick Taykor .Vs. Howard Davis Jr. 12 Rounds @ 140.
Tunney takes it by decision with crisp hard jabs and lead rights, sticking to his familar script and remaining disciplined...and Jersey Joe gets rattled more times than not by Gene's rights. It's classicism over cuteness. Oh..Sammy Angott vs Johnny Famechon
Not really a fair matchup. Angott was way too big and rough for Famechon. If Pep couldn't handle him, I don't think a case could be made for Johnny. Angott by mid rounds TKO. Rodolfo "Gato" Gonzalez (the original) vs Esteban De Jesus circa '72
DeJesus by a decision...too fast and precise with his punches and he'd get Rodolfo's respect real quick, ala 1st and 2nd Duran fights. Harold Johnson vs Marvin Johnson
Johnson is far too skilled for Johnson (Harold - Marvin) In a good fight Harold's superior skillset lets him land on Marvin and inflict damage but Marvins a warrior and will force till the last bell Harold Johnson UD Gregario Peralta vs Chria Finnegan
Well, I could be wrong of course (thats surely happened), but I have been favorably impressed by Peralta for the reasons we both know of..and thought that if he can trouble such diverse types as Pastrano, Bonavena and Foreman then he might also be able to take the measure of the tough Mr. Finnegan, who after all gave Bob Foster quite an evening before the inevitable ko happened...that may even out the picture a little bit....and I nearly forgot... Gerrie Coetzee vs Gerry Cooney
I'd pick Cooney to go out and blast him, probably in the second or third round. The left hook would find it's mark by then. Coetzee lack of confidence wouldn't allow him to press Gerry & that would be his undoing. Bernard Hopkins .Vs. Michael Spinks @ 175.
Spinks stoppage, despite Hops' cleverness, Spinks is awkward and hits hard with either hand. Keeping the Light-Heavy theme, Bob Foster vs Ezzard Charles
