good points except the last one (Nunn) . Roy beat james cause james was too fat and drained at 168 by the time they fought. jones knew that , that's why he wanted that fight. that's a jones' typical career move : like wanting terry norris , and fighting vaca at middleweight after agreeing to fight him at Jr. Middleweight. Vaca was virtually forced to accept this fight and got KO'd , he never knew he'd get cheated. roy always knew to pick smaller/more drained/more shot opponents , hence his record at the beginning , so was bernard btw. and many more. this is what is called : 'good management'.
Why would you say Jones has no heart? After going the distance with Calzaghe with blood streaming down his face, getting embarrassed for a significant portion of the fight and not being deterred, I think he does have plenty of heart. He's never been a favorite of mine but to say no heart is very unfair, in my opinion.
he beat two past prime legends....Hopkins and Jones still rank above Calzaghe all-time because they fought better competition, was a top level a long time, both were arguably 1 and 2 pound for pound for a decade, and Jones was a 4 division champion and has defeated 15 champions himself.
top 10........Jones already is the best fighter I have seen my own two eyes. Prime for pimre I cant think of who beats him 160-168. At 175 he was still great but didnt have the same one punch power but was a better counterpuncher. People complained he didnt take chances enough and it would silence his career long critics. If he beat danny green thats 5 titles in 5 weights
You'd put Calzaghe in your top 25?!??!?!?!? You need to watch some boxing mate. Calzaghe barely makes a sane top 100. If Jonse does all that he'll solidify his claim for a top 20 spot. Still doesn't get anywhere near the likes of Greb, Charles, Ray Robinson etc etc in terms of opposition. weight jumping really isn't that impressive unless you're absolutely tiny (Barbados Joe Walcott) or are moving up to face the best.
